Services

What we do

Examinations and diagnosis

A physical examination and your observations help identify the next steps. Bring previous results and details of changes in appetite, behaviour or activity.

Vaccination and preventive care

Vaccination and parasite prevention depend on age, health, previous records and exposure. Bring the vaccination record so an individual plan can be discussed.

Laboratory tests

Blood tests and microbiological examinations can help investigate illness. Results are interpreted together with the examination and medical history.

Diagnostic imaging

X-rays and ultrasound may help assess injuries or internal changes. The veterinarian decides which examination is appropriate and explains any preparation.

Surgery

Discuss the reason for a procedure, preparation, anaesthesia and recovery care before an operation. Discharge timing depends on the patient and the procedure.

Internal medicine

Changes in thirst, weight, appetite or bowel habits may require assessment. Record when the signs started and list current medicines.

Dermatology

Itching, redness, hair loss and recurring ear problems can have several causes. Mention recent food changes and products applied to the skin.

Cardiology

Reduced exercise tolerance, fainting or a persistent cough may require assessment. Difficulty breathing is urgent: call immediately instead of waiting for a routine appointment.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy may be considered when a closer internal examination is needed. Suitability, preparation and anaesthesia are discussed for the individual patient.

Hospitalisation and intensive care

Some cats and dogs need inpatient treatment or closer monitoring. Ask about admission, monitoring arrangements and any need for referral, especially outside opening hours.

Pet grooming

Grooming needs depend on coat type, skin condition and tolerance of handling. Discuss matting, skin problems and previous grooming difficulties before booking.

Cat and dog boarding

Boarding arrangements include availability, admission requirements, health records and feeding routines. Contact the clinic before arranging a stay, including details of any prescribed medication.

Cattle, sheep and goat care

Farm visits cover individual animal concerns and herd health discussions. Provide the location, species, number of affected animals and onset of signs when you call.

Farm animals

Farm visits in the Döşemealtı area

For cattle, sheep and goats, daily observations about feeding, movement, milk changes and births help guide a visit. Vaccination and treatment records help establish the care history. Contact the clinic to agree on the location, timing and preparation; severe illness, a difficult birth or several animals becoming unwell calls for an immediate phone conversation.

Before you come

Your first visit

  • Bring vaccination records, previous test results and prescriptions if available. Unknown history is useful information too; there is no need to guess.
  • Write down the onset of the problem, changes in food or water intake, and medicines or products recently given.
  • Cats travel in a secure carrier and dogs on a suitable lead or harness. Information about pain or handling difficulties helps the team plan the arrival.
  • Do not withhold food or stop prescribed medicine unless the veterinarian has given instructions for your animal and the planned procedure.
  • A preferred date and time can be sent through WhatsApp or discussed by phone. The appointment is confirmed when the clinic agrees the time; fees and preparation are part of that conversation.

Emergency

Do not wait if you see these signs

  • Difficulty breathing, or open-mouth breathing in a cat
  • Collapse, loss of consciousness or severe weakness
  • A prolonged seizure or repeated seizures
  • Bleeding that does not stop, a road accident or a serious fall
  • Straining without passing urine, particularly in a male cat
  • A swollen abdomen with repeated unsuccessful attempts to vomit
  • Possible poisoning or swallowing medicine or a foreign object
  • Heavy panting, weakness or collapse after heat exposure
